Summer has come to end here on the French Riviera. Not that you’d know it by the number of people sunning themselves on the beaches. The true, tell-tale sign weather-wise that we’ve left summer behind us is the increased number of rainy days. Still, the rain only last so long before the sky is blue again.
On the weekend, D and I headed out to Antibes to run a few errands. We took the scenic route — the route along the sea — both ways. With the sun still high in the sky and temperatures still in the mid-20′s I wanted to stop and take a dip in the sea too.
It was a perfect weekend to be out and about and judging by the mini bouchon we encountered in vieux Antibes, everyone felt the same.
Still, the drive along the coast, be it in the summer or winter is one of my favourites.
